Pray about it, act on it!

When was the last time you heard some bad news? How did you respond? What did you do?

When you hear about suffering in the lives of friends and family, do you tend to stay away or try to do something to help? Why?

Read Nehemiah 1:1-10. What does Nehemiah do when he hears the news about his people? how does he start his prayer? What does he ask God for?

Look at Nehemiah 1:1-4. WHat do these verses tell you about Nehemiah? How would you describe him? How would you describe his relationship with God?
